Fountain Pen Day Philippines 2015 was a resounding success! This was held at the Cinema VIP Lounge of Century City Mall, Makati, from 10am to 8pm last November 7. This is the second time Fountain Pen Network-Philippines has held the event, and the first time since it was incorporated into a non-stock, non-profit organization.

Around 200 people attended the event, many of them registered for the raffle. Each person received a Fountain Pen Day button and bookmark in Philippine flag colors, designs courtesy of Cary Yeager, founder of international Fountain Pen Day, and Leigh Reyes.

Many came to buy fountain pens, inks and stationery from the sponsors – Lamy, Parker, Sheaffer, Faber-Castell, Everything Calligraphy, Wahl-Eversharp/Pengrafik, and Scribe Writing Essentials.

Anthony Goquingco and Mark del Rosario held a nib clinic – diagnosing pen problems, adjusting ink flow, doing smoothing and minimal grinding on nibs.
